Dementia and Spirituality

This is a day conference for all those living with or supporting in any way people who live with Dementia. The number of people with dementia is growing as our population ages, and the need to support them with
love and dignity is becoming increasingly apparent.
The Conference will provide clinical information on the condition, practical strategies for coping with some of
the difficulties which can arise, and spiritual nourishment for carers and those with Dementia.
Input will be given by health specialists, dementia support groups and voluntary agencies providing
practical and spiritual support.

RCIA Resourcing Day
Retreat, Reflect & Resource
This is the focus of the RCIA catechists day on the 20th August as you begin to plan for the first stages of the Period of Enquiry. This day is for anyone who is involved in the catechesis of adults in the RCIA. You will have time for prayerful reflection and also be supplied with a range of resources for the journey.
Sr. Kathleen Curran UJ and Juliet MacKellaig will lead you from 10.30am – 3.30pm at the Gillis Centre.
