Becoming a Catholic? (RCIA)

Thinking of exploring the Catholic Faith?

The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is the process by which non-Catholics learn about the Catholic faith and way of life. It is a process of spiritual formation which culminates with entry into the Catholic Church with the celebration of the Sacraments of Baptism (if not previously baptised in a Christian denomination) Confirmation, and the Eucharist.

St Peter’s runs classes to welcome adults into the Catholic Church through weekly formation classes.  If you feel God is calling you to explore your faith, if you would like to learn more about the Catholic Church or if you are interested in becoming a Catholic, contact the parish priest at:

0131 447 2502
77falconave@gmail.com

The RCIA will meet on Mondays at 7.30pm in the Parish Room.  All welcome.

Volunteering at RCIA

RCIA Catechists welcome and bring new members into the Community of the Catholic Church so that they not only know what we believe but are enabled to meet Jesus Christ in the members of the Church. They are expected to attend on-going diocesan training.
