St Peter's St Vincent De Paul Society

St Peter's SVDP is mainly concerned with the visiting of the sick, elderly and housebound. A Mass and social gathering for them is arranged twice a year at Gillis transport being provided for those who need it.

Some members assist at a Mass, said for patients & relatives, on Wednesday afternoon in the Royal Edinburgh Hospital.

We fund and assist on St Peter’s night at the Jericho Soup Kitchen.

We have three “twin conferences” abroad, two in India and one in South Africa with whom we correspond and to whom we give financial aid.
