Description of role:
Design and maintenance of St Peter’s website
Initial planning and design of the website.
Initial purchase of the URL stpetersrcchurchedinburgh.org.uk
Two yearly maintenance of the URL- £14.
Weekly updating of the website with the information provided by the church secretary from the parish newsletter.
Photography of the church for the website.
Rotation of the images on the website.
Yearly review of the static pages on the website.
Collation of the website statistics and provision of these as required to the Parish Council.
Creation of pdfs from parish minutes and uploading of these minutes.
Responding to website email enquiries and forwarding on appropriately.
Liaison with Mgr Kerr, Bruce Royan, PCC secretary and Mary Wastle, church secretary.
Support provided:
Provision of parish newsletter from church secretary on a weekly basis.
Time required:
Initial design – 30 hours
Weekly maintenance – 15 minutes
Gifts and talents:
A full commitment to the Church and the Parish.
Knowledge of good practice in web design.
Knowledge of Dreamweaver and associated web software.
IT literacy
Good communication and liaison skills
